Our scent training programme combines nose work, trail laying and mantrailing to give dogs a fun and rewarding way to use their natural abilities.

For puppies, this can help them learn calm social behaviour from the start, rather than simply encouraging excitable play.

We also teach owners how to recognise canine social cues, understand when a dog is becoming uncomfortable and know when to step in before a situation escalates.

At Equinox K9 Connections, we take a balanced, individual approach to training, the majority of our work is reward-based  training, we also select methods and equiptment according to the dog in front of us, their needs, behaviour and welfare, looking beyond the behaviour itself to understand the emotions, experiences and underlying factors influencing your dog’s responses.
